Martine Salerno

Martine Salerno is the director and founder of the Blue Angel Reiki Centre. She is a Reiki Master Teacher and practitioner accredited by the Australian Association Of Massage Therapists (AAMT) and the Reiki Association of Australia.

She has been practicing Reiki since 1993 and has been dedicated to the teaching of Reiki since 1998.

One of her greatest strengths is her ability to relate and communicate with people of all age groups and diverse walks of life.

Martine is committed and inspired to make Reiki available to all who wish to explore the essence of healing, all who seek greater meaning and purpose to life, all who are willing to embark on a journey of self discovery and personal growth.

Biliana is an experienced counsellor, psychotherapist and educator with long-standing interests in the field of psycho/spiritual empowerment. From her private practice in Glen Waverley, she provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couple therapy. She is a lecturer at Phoenix Institute of Australia where she teaches students of counselling and art therapy, and also works as a clinical supervisor. Previously she also worked at Reconnexion in the Program of psychotropic medication addiction and complex mental health problems.

She holds a Masters Degree in Counselling from La Trobe University specialising in Process Experiential Emotion Focused Therapy and has completed advanced trainings in Person- centred Counselling, Transpersonal Counselling, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Jungian Sandplay and symbol work, and extensive clinical training in working with people with psychotropic medications dependence and at risk of suicide.

Her extensive clinical experience which covers a diverse range of presentations including work with anxiety, depression, adult survivors of childhood sexual assault, trauma, grief and bereavement, Bipolar Disorder, psychosis, confidence issues and relationship difficulties, as well as life transitions and other forms of personal crises – has taught her to embrace and work with her clients’ innate tendency toward healing in practical and tangible ways. Qualities of courage, resilience, emotional intelligence, awareness, compassion and acceptance are at the core of her work. Her deep empathy, compassion, congruence, warmth and love of life inspires people involved in their own healing journey and assists them to break through difficulties creating joy, happiness and wellbeing in their life.

Biliana is a registered clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. She is a Clinical member of the Counsellors’ and Psychotherapists’ Association of Victoria (CAPAV) and a practicing member of the Australian Counselling Association (Level IV).
